As Class of 2028 students in Austin, Texas, Will Donaldson and Carson Linder decided to take on more than just academics and athletics; they wanted launched a business. Playing basketball and football respectively, the boys understood hard work and putting in hours and hours of practice for results, but wanted to tackle a challenge off the court/field. Their business idea began when Carson’s older brother was preparing to leave for college in Tennessee and faced the challenge of moving an entire dorm room’s worth of belongings. With the help of a family friend, they found a solution, but it made them think: how many other students face the same challenge? As Austin locals, they realized many out-of-state students coming to UT Austin could benefit from a reliable storage option. These friends knew they could solve this problem, make other people's lives easier, and have fun in the process. It's from this realization, EZDormDrop was created.
